2024 was a moment of Change of Me,In 2024 alone, I worked on projects like the BB-Club, Therapeutic app, Ton Dune AI, and Ecoblocks, and was also selected as one of the 100 builders at MU Accra, where developers co-existed and collaborated. I also spoke about web3 in major universities, such as Ho Technical University, University of Cape Coast, University of Legon, Kumasi Technical University, and KNUST, as well as host events in Accra, Ho, Valley View University, and other locations.
In 2024, I took on the roles of Near Ghana Technical Lead and an african ambassador for Push Protocol and there after I became a contributor at Celo Africa DAO as the community manger for Ghana , while winning 1st place at ETHAccra for a climate change solution for Switzerland Embassy Bounty and 2nd in the Circles bounty. I also co-organized the Ghana Ethereum Translatathon Hackathon, won the Ethereum Translatathon, and became a key contributor to the African Onchain Collective.
Throughout this year, I also played a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting ETHAccra by organizing workshops at several well-known universities. Additionally, I provided key support in community management, workshop coordination, and social media coverage, helping to enhance the overall reach and impact of ETHAccra’s initiatives.
Furthermore, I founded and led BB-Club, an initiative focused on exposing students to Web3 and guiding them toward careers in the Web3 ecosystem. Through all these efforts, I remained committed to empowering others, creating impactful products, and exposing Africa to the limitless opportunities within Web3.
In 2023, I transitioned from being a content creator and writer to the Marketing Lead at Bankless Africa, achieving tremendous results such as increasing podcast downloads and activations. I also began teaching in small towns, including Dzodze in the Volta region, where I introduced SHS and JHS students to the evolution of technology, Web3, and blockchain. This was a significant year for me, as I embarked on my speaking engagements at events like the African Blockchain Summit and Filecoin Universities, while also hosting my first workshop in Ghana.
Additionally, I held key positions such as Marketing Lead for Bankless Africa and Future of Work volunteer, and I earned 3rd place at the ETH Accra hackathon in the Scaffolding category. This year was truly a period of growth, learning, and impactful experiences for me.
In 2022, I started my journey into blockchain development after realizing there was more to crypto than just P2P trading, which I had done the previous year. Attending a blockchain conference opened my eyes to the broader potential of the technology, which led to my role as the FTT Ambassador of Ghana. During this time, I founded YE DAO, a youth employment organization, and shared my knowledge of Bitcoin and Ethereum on TV stations and other channels. Midway through the year, I also became a contributor at Bankless Africa, further expanding my involvement in the blockchain space.
